a jumble of passions

I have been spending the past few days ordering photos from over the past year or so and organizing them into an album. Tonight, I even took down all the frames in my bedroom and put all new pictures in. And it made me think of the quote above.

There have been so many changes in my life in the past year. It was an odd feeling, looking back at the past year and remembering all the emotions I have been through; the beginnings of a new relationship, the ending of friendships, road trips to new areas, hearing new music & meeting new artists, fun times with family and friends….it was almost overwhelming. Luckily, most of my year was filled with love and laughter. There were the rough times (understandably, the album is pretty empty for those few months), but looking back on all those photos and seeing the faces of those I love reminded me of all the things I am grateful for.

And now I am lying in bed, candles lit, relaxing for the night, surrounded my the framed memories that make me smile :)
